Terms of Service

1. The service

Outchance ("we", "us") operates a startup discovery leaderboard at outchance.lol. Entrants purchase tickets that improve their startup's chance of being selected in a timed Crown Draw. The selected startup receives homepage visibility for the following crown period, a public winner page and a Hall of Kings listing. There is no cash prize.

2. Entries

Entries are made as a guest — no account is required. £1 buys 1 ticket; whole pounds only. Minimum and maximum entry amounts are shown at entry time. Bonus tickets (Welcome Tickets, £50+ Entry Bonus, Champion Carry) are promotional, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or rolled over. One Welcome bonus per startup lifetime; one £50+ Entry Bonus per startup per round.

3. The draw

Each round is resolved by an auditable weighted random selection using a pre-committed server seed. Draw inputs and results are published on each resolved round page so results can be independently reproduced. Nobody — including administrators — can choose a winner. Ticket totals improve chance but do not guarantee selection.

4. Eligibility and moderation

Entries must be for a real product with a working public website. We may reject, suspend or remove startups that are unlawful, deceptive, infringing or otherwise unsuitable, and may void and refund affected entries. Payments completing after a draw closes are not included in that draw and will be reviewed for inclusion in the next draw or refunded.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where an entry is voided by us or required by law, entries are non-refundable once the draw they joined has resolved. Refunded or disputed payments forfeit their tickets.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the affected round. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
