How it works
Outchance is a startup discovery leaderboard. One startup takes the homepage — the Crown Draw decides which.
- 1
Enter your startup
Paste your startup's URL. We load a safe preview — no account, no signup, no login.
- 2
Choose an amount
Type any whole-pound amount from $1. $1 equals 1 ticket.
- 3
See your ticket total and live chance
Bonuses are applied instantly and your projected chance for the active draw updates as you type.
- 4
Join the Crown Draw
Pay as a guest with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. Your entry appears on the live Challenger Board.
- 5
One startup is selected when the draw closes
The winner is selected by an auditable weighted random draw. More tickets improve your chance — every valid entry can win.
- 6
The winner becomes the homepage King
The King takes the homepage hero for the full crown period, plus a public winner page and Hall of Kings listing.
Tickets and bonuses
- $1 = 1 ticket. Whole dollars only.
- Welcome Tickets: your startup's first successful entry ever earns +10 Welcome Tickets. Once per startup, across all rounds, awarded only after verified payment. No cash value, no transfer, no rollover.
- $50+ Entry Bonus: a single successful entry of $50 or more earns +25 Entry Bonus Tickets. One bonus per startup per round — multiple $50 entries don't stack.
- Champion Carry: the reigning King starts the next round with 20% of their final tickets (capped at 100). Every other challenger carries 10% of theirs (capped at 50, minimum 1 ticket), so everyone who entered stays in the next draw automatically. Carry applies to the immediately following round only and does not stack.
Your chance
Your chance is simply your startup's tickets ÷ total active tickets in the draw. It changes while the draw remains open as other challengers enter. Ticket totals improve chance but do not guarantee the Crown — every valid entry can win.
What the King wins
- The homepage, locked for 24 hours. Your logo, tagline, image, and a prominent visit button in the hero of outchance.lol, with live impression and click counts.
- A live dofollow link from the homepage for your full reign, plus a permanent winner page with its own dofollow link to your site.
- A permanent winner page and Hall of Kings listing. Your crown page never comes down, and shared links render a ready-made crown card automatically.
- A crown report. When your reign ends we email you the numbers: impressions, clicks to your site, and click-through rate.
- Repeat-King status. Every crown you win adds to your 👑 count on the Challenger Board, permanently.
Checking a result
Every draw uses a pre-committed server seed: the seed's SHA-256 hash is published before the round opens, and the seed itself is revealed when the round resolves. Each resolved round page shows every input — seed, nonce, ticket ranges and total — so anyone can reproduce the winning ticket independently. Nobody, including admins, can pick a winner.
